Administrator of the Year

Fred Anderson, principal at Great Falls High School in Montana, received the Administrator of the Year Award in the fall of 2006. Photo by Joslyn Brown.

Reinstated in 1998, this award is given to administrators who have shown a dedication to journalism education. JEA members are encouraged to nominate worthy administrators. The winning administrator is encouraged to present a session at the fall national JEA/NSPA convention. Travel and hotel expenses to that convention will be paid by JEA. Nominations of unsuccessful candidates are retained for a maximum of two additional years and the original nominator is invited to send updated information by the deadline.
